Eat Clean is still going on. But I want to speak on my workouts today. This morning, I ran/walked with a newbie from my running group. We ended up doing 1.84 miles. Next week, she will be starting week #4 of her training. I'm loving her dedication & enthusiasm. It's so contagious. Despite it being really cold in the morning hours, I hold myself accountable to continue to help her out in achieving the goal of running a 5K. With this enthusiasm, she's actually going to her first 5K using the app we're using to train her. She's so excited because this is her first & it's in her hometown. One of her family members noticed on Facebook that she started running & told her about the race. She decided to do it. The app will help her because that week she will increase both distance & time. I told her to call or text me after the race in order for me to know how she did. I know she's going to do just fine because she has been working really hard at being consistent.
Then, this evening, my other running buddy wanted to do hill intervals. I think she's trying to kill me because she wanted us to do 10 hills. Yikes! Well, I'm almost always up for a challenge. However, after that 8th set, I wanted to call it a night & my buddy ended up getting a leg cramp. But, the beast in me came out & I ended up doing 10. The entire run was 4.65 miles with 10 hill intervals.
Now my butt is feeling those hills. Tomorrow morning, strength training.
