Survival of the fit

Thursday, October 24, 2013

Okay, so I'm not quite fit yet but I am surviving T25. I make myself come home change clothes and get started before I can talk myself out of exercising or decide to eat. It has finally sunk into my husband that he can not make me stray from doing a workout.

That's good though because today he started running again. He has decided that he needs to run BEFORE he comes home and he can get done. Needless to say he was very tired and beat up but says he knows now why I started again and am sticking with it.

We use to walk together which was great but it is getting cold and soon we will have snow (yeah, ski time). This actually started to get us ready for a cruise but afterwards we decided it was a great way to spend time to discuss anything that could cause a disagreement. We will go back to walking together in the spring or when we need to discuss something that could lead into a "heavy discussion". We don't like to have negative vibes flowing through our otherwise peaceful home. So money, politics, and work have to stay outside in the atmosphere where it can be blown away and handled by God.

We are doing it...yippee!!!

Love this blog ! My husband and I walked during stressful times as well and it's so true that the negatives stay outside where they can be blown away and handled by God !

It's interesting that you commented that "he cannot make me stray from doing a workout".... I do mine in the mornings, but I had that same feeling that he would want to make me stray from my workouts. After 10 months though he knows better ! Great blog!
