I had a major breakthrough motivation-wise yesterday and it's really showing today. I couldn't be more excited and enthused to hop into action. (Literally!) Quite honestly, that's what was really lacking for me. I have been watching my water intake and portions, but I wasn't too apt on exercising. Yesterday I found a great way to keep myself motivated.
And this time I'm going to see that motivation everyday. And since I'm always on my computer, this is the first thing I see when I get on it:
It's part of a song that I absolutely love and now it's part of my daily encouragement!
I must say I really love the new homepage. It's really helping me want to get more SparkPoints. It's not all that important a thing to go after, but it adds fun to the site and I really like it. I see it as a rewards program.
As for my exercise, it's mostly constrained (due to my lack of a job and inability to drive) to exercising at home. I dance for 10-15 minutes (unless it's Just Dance), go on the Elliptical Trainer for 5-10 minutes, and incorporate crunches, running in place, and whatever else comes to my mind. It sounds pretty dull, but it's fun and that's what's important. I can't go outside and walk because it's been rainy/snowy the last few days.
That might seem like an excuse for most people, but when you have lived in Michigan most of your life, you know better.
I will not be looking back at this point. When I go back to this post a few months from now, I will be proud of myself for having kept at it. No turning back, I've made up my mind. I'm giving all of my life THIS TIME.
