I'm going to try and give up cheese on my daily sandwiches. The added calories and fat just aren't worth it, especially with how filling the meat is. I'm very thankful that I absolutely, positively despise mayo. The only other thing I need to do is ease up on the sub sauce. (I don't use that much, actually. Just enough to make it more edible.)

Special K Protein Shakes help keep me satisfied on my last break, which is around 9pm, and when I get home I have fat free milk with some chocolate syrup. I can't remember the last time I had ice cream, either.

So far, so good!

Sounds delicious. I am not a big fan of mayo either, but I'll have it once in awhile. I like cheese better than mayo though. Glad you got rid of the cheese as well.

I've been using only goat cheese, but just an ounce a day - or not at all. It's a good decision to give it up for a while!! Remember to meet your calcium needs.

I love cheese and have really cut back on it. I still eat cottage cheese but that's not the.same thing. Sometimes I crave blue cheese or a strong cheddar or a Wensleydale. I like mayo too but don't eat that neither - can't afford calories. What is a sub and sub sauce? Good luck with your changes

Sounds like a good plan. I don't use Mayo either, never have. I don't think we have Subs here, so I'm not really sure what you mean.
