Hi Everyone,

Normally when you make a decision to get in shape and lose weight, you would get support from people you know. Do you ever notice that people start to treat you differently as soon as you lose weight and feel better about yourself .
They act aloof or better yet act smug. My advice is keep moving. People are just jealous that they didn't put forth the effort to exercise and eat right. Don't let the haters derail you from taking care of yourself.

Have a great and stay blessed emoticon

I noticed my best friend gets kinda pissy if I mention my progress - we are separated by distance for a while, but we talk by phone. I'm proud of myself and want to talk to her about how I feel I'm doing, but I limit what I say now.

She's always going on about how she needs to lose 30 pounds, so I think it's jealousy - and try not to focus on it much. I just do what I need to do for me :)

Keep your eyes on the prize. Don't look to the left or the right but focus on the goal ahead of you! This is your own personal journey and no one can take that from you!

Enjoy the journey!

Actually, it makes me even more motivated to show them that their warped opinion does not matter to me... what matters is MY opinion!!!!!

So true - so true! Keep doing what you're doing and let them deal with their issue...because that's just what it is - THEIR issue, not yours.

Good advice! emoticon
