I long ago got rid of my 2X clothes, and my 1Xs, 18s, 16s, 14s, 12s, 10s, 8s, and even some of the bigger 6s. I found myself no longer wearing big scarfs, earrings, and pins, but using smaller accessories, so I got rid of the big ones, too. I replaced my underwear, pajamas, and bathing suits. But there was one thing I put off -- my wedding ring. When I ran it flopped on my finger, obviously too big. I was reluctant to get it resized. I didn't think it was possible to have it a comfortable size and still get it on and off over my knuckle.
Today I went with my hubby back to the jewelry store where we chose the ring in 1979. They suggested a ring guard. It only cost a couple dollars and now my ring doesn't flop on my finger even when I run.
That is it. I don't think I have even one more item that is too big. I'm not one to give away useful items, but I am so glad I exercised that act of faith and got rid of everything related to my obesity. I'll never need them again.
