BLC23 Week 4 Evaluations Week 5 Goals

The scales went down this week!
I am trying to do as many of my fitness minutes outside while our SW Missouri weather permits. Being out in the fresh air and moving is therapeutic where my stress is concerned. It doesn't alleviate it all together, but it enables me to deal somewhat better with it, and it is better than it was at this time last year. My goal is to have 400+ minutes of activity per week. I didn't quite make it last week again. I was closer, though. I had been trying to give myself an "off" day, but have begun to get 10 or 20 minutes of walking on that day to get to my 400 minutes.
The second part of my goal was to have fun while I was meeting my BLC goals. I am having fun with different food choices, trying to eat a rainbow of freggies, and taking a standard favorite lunch to work on the two days that I work. Visiting with a colleague during one midday walk was fun. Noticing the changes in the neighborhood with the changing season is fun as I ride my bike and walk. Strength training? Not going to lie...I would have to say that I don't find that fun. However, seeing that I had lost 8 inches at the end of BLC22 was TREMENDOUS FUN!
It was fun this morning to find a pea coat/jacket at a yard sale where I just happened to stop, looking for yarn. No yarn, but a great pea coat in a size 10 that fit great! I still had not replaced my winter coats, and had been wearing an XL and an 18-20. So the size 10 was fun, fun, fun and I was happy, happy, happy with the $5 price tag! The person having the yard sale must have had a clothing business of some type because there were lots of jackets, coats, sweaters, formals, etc...and they were in great condition.
My week 5 goals will be to continue on with my journey as I have been doing since it is working for me.
