Another one of my reasons to get in shape is to sleep better. I am a light sleeper as it is, and I admit I let the dog sleep with me in the bed, so his movements will wake me up occasionally, especially when he has to do his business in the middle of the night (we're working on that). On top of all that, I still just wake up in the middle of the night anyways.
Working out will help me stay asleep and get a more restful sleep. That means the longer I stay asleep, even if it's still just 7 hours overall as normal, the more rested I will feel when I wake up when compared to the not-fit me. This is an excellent thing!
