An early smack

Thursday, October 24, 2013

This morning during my workout I was thinking about the Christmas cookies I am going to make this year. Yes, I am crazy like that. LOL. I workout in the basement which is near my office and I had some recipes printed out and that got me thinking about Christmas.

I am working towards 100 pound loss with 35 pounds to go. I want to reach that goal by February 2014. Christmas cookies do not factor into that goal! LOL.

I know I can do them in moderation because I am so close to that goal I can taste it. Literally. I know I can and will do this. So after my workout, I log in to sparkpeople and read this on a members page .....

People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas.

SMACK! Right in the forehead. I am worried about such a small moment of time. I have done so well this last year. The holidays WILL be manageable.

OMG! You had to remind me about Christmas cookies didn't you. Sam's club and Costco sell some chocolate covered Christmas cookies that are just to die for. I can't even walk down that aisle in the stores.
