Goals for today...

Thursday, October 24, 2013

I am really wanting to get back to strength training, I miss it so much!!! Obviously with my back injury I cannot do too much at this time, but I can at least try my best to do all I can....something, that will take me closer to my fitness goals. So for today, my goal is to do 10 military pushups, and least 15 mins of Yoga and 15 mins of upper body with bands and my 5 lbs DBs. I know it does not seem like much but to me, this is a big deal.

I will report back later today with my results!! :) Hope you all have a fantastic day!

Injuries are such setback in many ways, but keeping your focus on doing other physical activities that work around your injury shows complete focus and determination. You have those qualities in droves, you got this, for sure you've got this! :-D

Only do what you can and don't sweat the small stuff for the fact that you want to is accomplishment within itself. Every little bit helps. Good for you as there are some who can and won't! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

OH my I'm so sorry to hear of your injury:( I hurt my knee while running a few eeks ago and it's set me back on what I can and can't do so I compeltely understand. Good job to you for knowing your limits but not letting them deter you from what you can do. Good luck

I can relate to injuries - they always hinder workouts. Just be careful and don't overstress your back because you might be out for a longer period of time. Hang in there and use caution.

Praying for your healing, I know its frustrating, but wowsa, you have a great attitude and you have inspired me to at least try to "something". I began working out with interval running, in August, and ended up with a sprained ligament, on crutches. Been scared to start trying anything now. So I will follow your lead, and baby steps until my body is stronger to go on to the next. emoticon
