Day 206 - Cleaned Out the Gardens!

Wednesday, October 23, 2013

My puppy seems to really enjoy jumping in the small raised garden and run around like a ping pong among the many plants. He likes to attack the plants and in the process, gets very dirty.

Today, I decided to cut down many plants that are dying from the cold weather. It took 2 full bags for the small garden and 5 full bags for the large garden plus the many leaves littering the yard. He cannot yet jump onto the big garden since it is raised higher...but there is a chance! I ran out of bags and it was getting colder. I probably spent 4-5 hours in those gardens!

My puppy was outside for two of those hours, which of course he was a spaz! Bath time! My son made us lunch and afterwards, headed to the store for more bags.

I am exhausted!

I doesn't help with that dang cat either! She got us up at 4:00 am and I tossed her in my daughter's room. An hour later, the cat was scratching at my door. I woke up my daughter to take her cat and keep it with her. At 7:00 am, the cat was out and meowing. My daughter was gone. I tossed the cat in her room and was able to sleep another hour. This afternoon, I told her she needs to get rid of it. Of course she is also tired from the cat and said she is sleeping at her boyfriend's place. Not fair! I told her to take the cat with her but she refused. Cat better be gone by end of this week! Otherwise I will be looking at some spark recipes for cat stew! Just kidding...but the cat will end up at the shelter...she meows constantly!

Well, good night...I am sure I will be up at 4:00 am...
