Busy, busy; but keeping the streak!

Wednesday, October 23, 2013

At least I'm shaping me...

I had one of those days were not much went my way. DD had an orthodontist appointment so I had to leave work early. On my way to pick her up, I drove right in to a wall of traffic. One second I'm at speed on cruise control, go around the bend and bam! Welcome to traffic in DC metro! Doh! Thankfully my neighbor was home and able to get her to her appointment.

While I was working through some data at work and somehow my transfer drive got encrypted.
We have pretty strict rules on network access and what computers can be on the network. It's a long story... suffice it to say I work in the Army. Generally when I run a plate, I dump more data than a DVD can handle... actually, more than about 5 DVDs. So, I have access to a network exception for a transfer drive. It's not the easiest thing to get. I'm so bummed! This is going to put a serious damper on my work!

I'm not quite sure how it happened; but I'm sure hoping we can get it fixed tomorrow.

Anyway, despite my frustrations I still hopped on my trampoline. I decided to give the treadmill a rest for today. I would have gone outside but it was rainy and getting dark. We don't have much in the way of berms through the neighborhood and I'd have to walk on the road for about 3/4 mile to get to the trails. I'd rather be safe than wind up on someones bumper... people drive WAY to fast through our neighborhood!

Well, I've got to run. Computer time is over! Catch you later!

Another good reason for me to get up and move. Maybe it would change my attitude. Glad you played it safe. We need you around!

Keep going. You'll get there!
