I don't remember the first day i checked my weight but i think it was sunday before my doctors apt on monday. I wanted to compare the two scales. Anyway, i checked my weight today and according to my home scales i have lost 6 lbs in just a few days.
What shocks me most is the fact that i haven't been watching my calories at all. Because i am diabetic and wanted to get my sugars under control all i have been paying attention to is my carbs. The only reason i got back onto sp was to help me get my bs under control. Who would have thought that by watching carbs alone would help me to lose weight. Well, i have been walking also but most of it is just from watching carbs. Is this proof that carbs are truly the reason so many of us are so obese? Makes you think truly about what you put in your mouth. I haven't cut out all carbs, but i make sure i only have what is allowed. I am so happy right now :P.
I have been getting in 12 glasses or more of water a day (actually more than that cause i don't count water after midnight since sp changes days. I started walking again last night and even (omg i never thought this would have happened) jogged for a block. I will have to go back and see if i am actually staying under my calories cause like i said i don't track those like i do the carbs.
