Leaving Week Three Behind Me

Ugh. What an awful week it's been. My spiral from week two (following the soccer tourney and college tour) continued at full-force this week. Between the 10-page research paper, the statistic tests (I'm horrible at math), and the fact that I found out that ONE of the classes I need next semester in order to graduate in May isn't being offered so my graduation is going to be delayed at least one semester, I just lost it. I hit the "who gives a *#$!" point and gave myself a free pass on all responsibility for my diet and exercise. I know that my stressors are nothing compared to what some people go through, but after taking classes for 16 years while working full-time and raising my daughter on my own I was just so darn excited to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's just frustrating. Add to that my period and the fact that I woke up yesterday morning and couldn't move my neck (still a bit sore today) and it's just been a fantastic week! LOL!

Anyway, moving on. I'm trying to get back on track today. I was surprised, and delighted, to see that I still managed to lose a bit this week. It was only -0.6 lbs, but it's still something. Every little bit counts and at least it wasn't a gain!

Here are my goals for the coming week:

Nutrition
Calories: 1200-1550
2 shakes a day (tried chocolate raspberry cheesecake today and it was DELISH!)
Veggies with every dinner

Water
8 cups per day, minimum

Exercise
20 minutes per day, minimum

Mind
Planet Beach 3 times
Go to bed 30 minutes early to have some reading time

    Hi Sweetie,,, we ALL HIT THe WALL at some point !! I am SO VERY SORRY about the schooling,, both the MATH and that you have to now wait an extra sememster.

HOWEVER I AM ALSO SO PROUD OF YOU FOR FOLLOWING THRU ON THIS !!!! SO VERY PROUD !! NO doubt it has NOT been easy !!! But, WOW !! This is also NEAT !!!

NICE goals for you ,,,and they seem REALISTIC so that you can carry them thru. Hey,, did ya ask for a BUDDY??? IT should soon be,, that we are ALL MATCHED UPPED !! WOOHOOO !! Jess,,,if you did NOT ask for a buddy,, PLZ DO AT ONCE on the team page under Buddy. It's AMAZING how much the ONE ON ONE encourages us to keep on going ! I ALWAYS ask for at LEAST TWO buddies,,, so we can KEEP OTHAH GOING !! I can say my DEEPEST thoughts,, FEARS, ANXIETIES to them,,, and it's FINE for they DO UNDERSTAND !

    First, just have to ask, what is planet beach? Might be somewhere I need to go. Anyway, you had a bad week, next week will be better. You realize what happened and that is half the battle. Sorry about your class and not being able to graduate when you thought you would. That is a tough one. Have a better week next week.
