Hey everyone !

I am still working hard at losing weight. I been put back on steroids for my asthma and I'm sure that this will be a bit of a setback but I'm going to work hard to keep going. A few days ago I found out I was having an asthma attack, sinus infection, and bronchitis. At that time I could only sleep in 3 to 5 minute intervals before violently coughing myself awake.

I decided to go to the emergency room and then I was diagnosed with all of the above. I have an antibiotic and steroids and using my inhaler twice daily. Trying to stay as active as I can but obviously we can't breathe is difficult to exercise. So I've been doing more body weight strength training things. Along with eating as healthy as I can while traveling and drinking lots of water. They also think I have another kidney stone on my left side this time so I will likely be making some dietary changes in drinking even more water.

As far as my goals go, I'm down about 5 to 8 pounds and still working hard to lose each month until the end of the year. I'm applying to fellowship in at a conference right now mingling and meeting lots of important people.

I hope you all are doing well! I plan to make the most out of this month even if I spent most of it sick. I'll check in again soon

later sparkies!!!

I have asthma as well, and almost every year I get bronchitis that then turns to pneumonia in the winter months. It definitely is not fun at all, so I hope that you get to feeling better soon! Hopefully the steroids will help! Keep up all of the good work!

I hope that asthma leaves you soon! I remember a time when I was continuously coughing and it was discovered a medication that I had been taking for quite a while was causing the coughing. As it was it was good that I quit the med since it turned out I didn't need it anymore.

Best wishes for getting that fellowship!!!
