Today is day 8 of my streak!

I have started a challenge for myself. Its a simple one; just try to make as much progress as I can by New Years Day. I started this challenge in September, and unfortunately I got off track for a while and had a little weight gain. But that was then, this is now! I am back on track and doing my best to make each day as healthy as possible.



As of today (October 23) there are 69 days until New Years Day. Thats plenty of time to make noticeable progress! A few of my Spark friends have joined me on this little challenge and I love having them along for the ride. It keeps me accountable and motivated, just knowing that I've got others with me!



In order to make as much progress as possible, I have committed myself to working out every day for at least 60 minutes, broken up into two workouts. I will drink my water, and I will eat healthy, real food. I'm doing my best to eliminate processed food as much as possible. I know I won't be perfect, but I am going to put forth my best effort and I will not give up.



This month, I started out doing the 30 Day Shred, although I stopped doing it after two weeks; thats when I got off track. But once I got back on track, I went back to exercising, this time with My Fitness Coach for Wii, and of course my favorite workout, DDP Yoga. I've already got my workouts planned for next month, too. I'll be doing 10 Minute Solutions Kettlebell DVD. And I'll be continuing with DDP Yoga and My Fitness Coach.



With God's help and the support of my awesome Spark friends, I know I will try hard to stay focused and on track. I look forward to seeing how much progress I can make in the next 69 days. Join me! How much progress can you make by New Years Day?

    I have been with you on this and we didn't even know it! I, too, said "enough" to gaining back weight and started back to good Sparking in early September. I've "relost" 8 pounds so far and have been working to loose as much as I can by Christmas. I recently found out that my daughter will not be coming home for Christmas (first time EVER), so I like your plan of working towards New Years. Great blog, thanks.

    Very motivating blog. My DH and I started eating healthy and working out together a little over 70 days now I think. I have lost 31 and my hubby has lost about ten. The weight I have lost is weight I had to re-lose but I am so grateful that I "just did it". I got back on track like you are doing and it is paying off. I too exercise 60 minutes a day. Sometimes I break it into two workouts but lately I am just doing an hour in the am. Exercise is KEY to my success and I know I can't procrastinate...I have never REGRETTED a single workout. :)
