I'm not sure if I want to WooHoo

I'm not sure if I want to emoticon or emoticon
I couldn't find the energy to to exercise at home today so I put on my trainers & walked into town, about a mile partly up hill.
Went into the supermarket and wandered round the clothes section. Saw 2 tops I would have loved to buy, but thought to myself I'm not gonna be this size for much longer so it's a waste of money, I did think about buying a smaller size but I've already got a suitcase of smaller clothes bought with good intention.

So I walked home carrying 2 bags of healthy food.

Sounds like a emoticon to me! You walked about two miles, carried groceries for one of those miles, and bought yourself some healthy food. emoticon

    Great Job ! emoticon

A good idea for new clothes would be a thrift store (like Goodwill, we also have Value Village), where you could pick up a couple of new tops for cheap. Also check out the discount/sale racks. I picked up a pair of pants for $20 that were regular $110.

That is DEFINITELY worth a emoticon

You found a way to get exercise in when you weren't motivated AND got healthy food at the same time. That is emoticon

I can totally relate to the clothes situation. I have outgrown about 90% of my old clothes but am leery of spending money on new ones since I won't be at this size now and money is tight. I hate to spend money on something I'm only going to wear for a little bit. I'm not sure where you live (because you said "trainers" instead of "sneakers", which sounds British instead of American...), but I went to Marshalls and found some great Michael Kors pants (retail price $99.50) for $35. Is there a store like that by you? Also, I went to Goodwill and found a sweater someone donated that still had the original price tag on and was new but was only $4.99.

Good luck!

Walking one hour a day before breakfast gets the bodies metabolic system in gear to burn calories. You did well in your choice emoticon .

On inclement days I'll do a race track pattern throughout the house. The dogs think its great. emoticon Earl
