belly fat

Wednesday, October 23, 2013

I am writing this because of a funny experience yesterday. A lady at the pool asked me about her "stomach spasms." I honestly did not know what she meant. And she was pretty unclear about what she meant. She had no knowledge of anatomy. I was amazed. So I gave her an ananomy lesson. Anyway I thought maybe others are unclear, too.
Here is a clear picture of the difference between the "bad" belly fat inside, near the organs and the not so bad belly fat just under the skin.

I hope that helps someone.

I know, it is amazing how little people know... and at the same time how much information (some of it NOT all correct) that I have accumulated over the decades. Thanks for sharing this. I look at my belly fat though and it does not make me happy. Years being on insulin makes me sure that my belly fat is storing it.

Thanks, Chris. If I weren't such a coward (and if I were RICH) I'd see about liposuction to get rid of a lot of my belly fat. Oh well, guess I just need to redouble my efforts to lose it the old fashioned way. : )

I have both. Yes, I have watched patients opened up under the knife. It's so gross to see all the fat.
