Status, 2013-10-21, Mon, going into Tuesday.

After two days with a total of 3.25 hours sleep, each, I bagged any extra exercise.

Monday, night, going into Tuesday, however, I was able to nail down eight hours; and, never has sleep been so delicious. I've also started to gain weight to my new goal of 180 lbs (up from the previous goal weight of 175, and a low measurement of 170.3).

Felt much better today, after the sleep. Basically, the sleep lesson seems to be that I can't sleep much more than 3.5 hours at a time before there's pain in my back, and/or my legs and/or prostate issues require another trip to the head. So my current strategy is to take sleep in 2 to 3.5 hours increments, and then walk about a bit, and sit up to stir up circulation (for an hour or more) and then go back to sleep in a new position.

My new found driving ability, plus the removal of all bandages from my back, allowed me to (a) get a haircut today, and (b) get to the Nashua YMCA for 30 minutes on the recumbent and 4 laps walking on the track.

Since I had to make dinner tonight on the grill, that was quite a lot of physical activity for me in one day. (Beth is sitting my grandson at my daughter's house.)

Felt very good to have a more normal day,

    I didn't sleep well the Monday night but last night I did. My hubby said I was snoring which I normally don't do. The night before my heart was going crazy and I suspect that I came in contact with some caffeine.

It sounds like things are slowly getting back to normal for you. It's nice that you are able to drive again - to me it means independence.
