What I am Eating

One week follow up visit went well.
I am allowed to have soft foods now. I went and bought some deli meat ham and string cheese. I am still working on eating the first piece of each. I did have one wheat cracker. Yum! I have been wanting something crunchy. I just cannot eat more than 3 - 5 bites. I am listening to my pouch and stopping at the slightest hint of fullness.
Good thing I am drinking Unjury Strawberry Sorbet to get in all my protein. I like the Unjury Strawberry because it is not milky and 8 oz. has 21 protein! It tastes like a Crystal Light flavor. In fact they say to mix it with diet lemonade to have a strawberry lemonade. I am going to try that soon.
I have been setting a timer.
Take meds with applesauce
Wait for 30 minutes
Eat breakfast - 30 minutes
wait for 30 minutes
Drink 1 cup of liquid - over an hour period
and so forth until the day is done and I have 50 - 60g of protein and 48 oz of liquids.
Setting a timer helps me so much in reaching my goals.
