What are your goals for 2014?

my Goals to maintain from now to/through 2014

1. Spirit ---- Putting God first in everything I do!!

2. Body ---- I would like to lose 100 lbs in 2014. Keep moving. My goal weight for 2014 will be
212 lbs.

3. Mind ----- Stay positive and only think good things about myself!!!

4. family ---- Letting my family know I love them and do many more things for them in 2014.

5. friends ---- Make more friends that support me and surround me with positive!!!

6. Homeless ---- Working with the homeless with my husband, special things!!!!

Adding another important goal - Stress is a big part of my life and learning how to deal with it. My new goal

7. Stress ---- When I feel stressed or upset instead of reaching for food - do some sort of exercise!!!

    I figure if I have goals for today and stick to them I will get somewhere if I keep doing them. These are to stay within my calorie range to lose 1 pound a week, walk, and drink 2 litres of water.

I will also make a weekly change of my choice with the Transformations team (this week it was to track my walking and calories), and have a go at the weekly Starting Over mini challenge each week (which this week resulted in a decision to eat smaller portions of pasta and weigh my potatoes.)

I'm just starting this so I'm sure juggling all the balls will get easier and I will be making many changes over time.

    great goals. Have you thought about making them SMART goals? I have found when I take my long term goals and then write out measureable steps to help achieve them, I have a better way to focus on them. Spark has great articles on SMART goals that have really helped me.

    Instead of doing a year at a time---I would be setting myself up for failure.

I choose to take each month at a time as they come and make one change for that month. Then, adding that unto the one from the month before!

    Great goals girl! We at Weight for God will be right here to cheer and encourage you all the way! My goal is to be at my final ultimate goal by 4/24/14 As for weight that is the main one. I have one other one which is 1/8/14. That is the one yr anniversary of my heart attack! It sure would feel good to be in much much better shape by then!!
