Signs

Tuesday, October 22, 2013

Signs in my life lately: season changes, stress headaches, SP site changes, others' blogs that have struck a chord, general discontent, unorganized.

What does all this mean to me? I need to get my act together. I need to relax more and stress less. I need to get rid of things that I don't need and don't use. I need to clean things well. I need to change my eating and exercising around. I need to get back on the track of being the best I can be. I need to take time to smell the roses, enjoy life, do something new and stimulating.

Can I do it? emoticon

Yes, sure I would love it if you come over and take care of me.... sounds like I need to go down there and take care of you too.... guess it's all up to us.... slow down, enjoy and stop stressing..

I finally had my walk today... yeah, feel a little better.... it was cold so Buddy and I only got a short walk in, but my body said it was time to go home...

time for a hot bubble bath to get warmed up...

I know what you mean, as I have been there in the recent past, myself. BUT Since my daughter and granddaughter have been here, I am not having that problem, as of late.
Different seasons so we can encourage each other. emoticon

Just remember to love yourself through the whole process. It's easy to become overwhelmed.

Take one step at a time.

It's hard to get rid of things - well, that's what I'm finding and have been putting off but today I'm taking some more steps there. I think I will feel less stressed without the 'pressure' of stuff around me so much - as in I need to not have 50 library books waiting to be read at the same time emoticon

Re: getting rid of things I don't need. One thing that worked for me was to put things I was not sure about in a big bag and put the bag in the closet. When I hadn't opened that bag for a YEAR, I realized how foolish it was to keep all those items.
But I agree with the other posts, it might be best to start with the "stop and smell the roses" idea FIRST. Once you've learned to do a little of that, you'll be stronger and happier and better prepared to tackle the organizational tasks.

You WILL do it. Just relax and try to do your best to adapt to the changes. Take the time you need to organize your priorities. Remember one step at a time, one moment at a time and just one day at a time. Do your best each day and try to enjoy the present time! Good luck!!!
