GRACE BRINGS LIGHT
Most of us don’t like being in the dark. As children, when it was dark, we were scared of what we could not see. However, when the light was switched on we usually found there was nothing to be afraid of. The light provided us security knowing what was around us and proved there were no monsters under our bed. We have a light that never goes off. God is our Light who is here to protect us, guide us and provide us security in this dark world. Because of His grace, He gives us Light.
Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, thank You for Your guiding Light. Your word is for us to use every day to help us through the darkest times. We can find security in Your word. We can find hope in Your word. We can find protection in Your word. Help us to remember today that because of Your grace we have Your word that is a lamp to guide us and a light to show us the way. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Going through life in darkness is our own choice. We can choose the light God provides for us to see clearly and to move closer to Him.
Anyone who is in darkness right now can have Light by just calling on Jesus to guide them.
We can find light in God’s word. He gives us all we need when we read His word.
If we are feeling like we are moving around in the dark, it’s time to switch on the Light of God.
God’s word is a light for us to use to guide us to do the right thing.
Psalm 119:130 “The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.” (NLT)
