I am so sore...

But it is a good sore. Yesterday I did the butt blasting workout video (which is EVIL) and the 20 minute core video. Then I decided that I should go and ride. I rode for over an hour and did a lot of 2-point and sitting trot, as well as riding without stirrups. I also did a little bit of yoga on The Mare's back. She was a bit spooky though, but not as bad as Friday. I was really sore last night, but feeling better when I woke up this morning, so I went for a walk, and pushed myself to where I knew I wasn't overdoing it but still pushing a bit. After the walk was an arms strength video, and some yoga. Right now I am all achey, but it feels so good. It is the ache that tells you that you have actually done something, vs the ache that tells you that you have hurt yourself.

I am so ready for a nap, but I don't want to sleep all afternoon and have trouble sleeping tonight. I have been watching an episode of Heartland online and working on the scarf I'm knitting my best friend for Christmas. I'm trying to do mostly homemade gifts this year, because I am broke but also because I feel that they have more meaning.

Tomorrow I am going to take it easy and just do some yoga as well as going out to ride Ellie. If I feel up to it afterwards, I might take my mother's Australian Shepherd, Webster, on the rail trail for a bit. He really loves it!

    Awesome day of training! Horse riding is so great for the lower body. And upper body. And core!! Heheh. I want to ride.. it's been raining here for a whole week!

Congrats on the soreness, its definitely a good thing as long as you get plenty of rest!!
