Which means October will be over in a hoot n holler!!! Where oh where did the year zoom too?
Friday: Workout done 45 minutes treadmill, strength training
Saturday: Did not do Breast cancer walk - raining and I overslept
Sunday: 30 minute taebo in the morning and a 20 minute walk/jog in the afternoon
Food intake: Friday and Saturday were high calories, but I had enough activity points to compensate. Saturday was a mistake as I didn't check the points on the hotdog buns I ate until after I made them. (note to self - better meal planning) Really cost me in points (WW) so I got to get rid of those. I think they were like 5 points each just for the bun
Yesterday I focused on staying lower in my points for the day and will keep that up the rest of the week. Scale showing a gain so I'm not happy with that this morning. Got to shake it up before the official weigh-in Thursday. NO EXCUSES is still in effect!
Lately when I've been on the treadmill I've had a desire to jog. Being that I have an ankle issue I talk myself out of it and especially when I'm in the gym. I'm a bit shy about jogging there but I'm working up my mojo to just DO IT! Well yesterday I was on my home treadmill and I got that desire and I just did the dang thang!! I surprised myself that I was able to jog at 1 minute intervals. I even did a 2 minute jog right before I was done. I did well but my calves started to burn so I stopped.
I'm going to embrace this jogging thing once and for all. It is my plan to make my body get up early and workout at least 2-3 days a week before work. I got some goals to meet and I'm going to meet them! I got a few things I'm working towards:
1. Visiting my daughter for Christmas and I want there to be a significant change in my appearance by then. 64 days
2. Thanksgiving - I don't plan to see any of my family before that time and I want to be able to say - I've knocked off a portion of my 50 before my 50th to them. As a few were skeptical when I stated my goal at our last gathering in September. Most thought it was too much to lose in 7 months. As of my last weigh-in I'm down 17#s from my original starting weight. My first goal is to lose 25 by the end of the year...so I got 8#s to reach that milestone and I will get there sooner than later. Praying I get there before Thanksgiving and I'm working on the next 25 by then. 39 days
3. My long distance love wants me to visit him soon so - pop, pow, boom - definitely want to make a lasting impression on that visit

and my ultimate goal is to knock the 50 before 50 off my list and go for the next goal!
My goal weight this week is 272 or lower!
