The Elavator is going DOWN!!

I thought that this was a pretty good article! ~

We had a very very hard couple of weeks here with my youngest daughter. (So I have been reading lots of SP motivation.) PD (precious daughter) has many special needs and one of them, the one that kept us hopping is that she's self injurious.
We are the 7th family she's lived with in 5 years. (she turned 6 last month) Even our Social Worker shakes her head at us. How do we do it?

without these 5 incredibly FUN boys, we'd be burnt out. seriously. These boys give us more than we give them.

So this weekend I crashed from exhaustion. I protected her all night each night from harming herself and slept/died almost 12 hours the rest of the day. Of course that's a lot of up and down because I never get to sleep without someone needing me! LOL! But close enough for me!

I had to stop exercising because it was actually adding stress to my body each time it had to recover. I thought my body would get used to it. nope. So I only met my exercise goal 1 out of 7 days.

And I woke up this morning to a whopping (LOL!!) 1 pound loss and GH (grumpy husband) holding a vase of lime green carnations and a card for me! After all lime green is his favorite color! ROTFLOL!! I guess I can put up with him another 37 years! ;o)

Life is just a chair of bowlies!! Everything unexpected! Especially when you are 56 with 10 children still at home ages 6-12 and our adult son with DS 18, and 2 group home ladies and 3 dogs!

Happy Monday everybody!
Love you ALL

Hang in there with your 6 year old daughter God will provide the strength you and your husband need to go without sleep while he is healing her. Dearest Jesus, please hold this family tightly in Your loving arms as You meet ALL their needs and grant them PEACE. Amen

So excited about your one-pound loss! You are on the right track now after a long stall like I have had. I have shared your frustration with the lack of the scales moving.

And you are such a strong and loving and giving person to all the loved ones in your family. I don't know how you do it. And your hubby loves you so much. (He sounds a lot like mine with the green flowers.)

Hey there sweetie. You darling girl. Love you to bits. You make me smile, you make me cry and then you make me laugh out loud. I can sooooooo identify with the green carnations incident. They do the best they can - aint that the truth.

Loving the 1lb loss.

Big hugs Wispy.

emoticon I don't know how you do it! The boys are darling. And GH can always still surprise you so that's a good thing. I'll add your little girl to my prayer list. You need to get some sleep so you can stay strong and congrats on your weight loss. I agree with's better than the elevator going UP!!
