Today was rather laid back. We got to talk with one of our international students on skype this morning. She is doing well. She's getting ready for her wedding, which looks like it may be in December. Apparently, not a lot of advance planning is required in some other countries, unlike here where throwing together a wedding in 2 months would be a nightmare.
Then we went to church, which was nice. Then we had an English club lunch and one of our Cambodian students prepared the food. It was rather delicious. I couldn't tell you what it was. Some sort of grilled beef dish. We also had rice and bread. I tried my best to guesstimate what exactly it was so I could track it.
After everyone else left the house, the hubbs and I stayed and spent the afternoon with our friends who had hosted the get-together. My friend and I went for a walk while our husbands took a nap. It wasn't a long walk because I didn't bring my sneakers. I was in sandals. Now I regret going for that walk in my sandals. My feet hurt. Then we came home and just finished off a chicken dinner.
Tomorrow will be quite a day. I'm not sure I'm ready for the week to start yet. But I have two Pilates classes and three dance classes. For Pilates we will be doing an interval workout with a focus on arms. Plus I need to spend some time up at the church working on some stuff. So it will be a full day.
