Last week I was having a tough time getting into gear on the nutrition front so I decided to have a detox day with just teas and clear soups.
I started the day with green tea with lemon and two glasses of water.
For lunch I had a clear vegetable soup which was delicious followed by black tea with lemon and a glass of water.
At dinner I had another serving of clear vegetable soup followed by tea with milk and sugar and another glass of water.
I thought this would be extremely difficult but it was actually fairly easy and it got me back on track this week. I thought I would be just starving the next day which wasn't the case. I ended up having a very normal nutrition day the next day.
I think I can repeat this every couple weeks and generally feel better.
Has anyone else tried a detox? What was your experience?
