Knew it would not last

Good Morning- Ex Gf is threatening DS again with legal and custody. for the most part, we are ignoring her. She is a liar and has severe emotional problems.
She keeps harping on her Army Reserve equipment that she has failed to turn in when she had many opportunities to turn in when she lived in our state.
She wants DS to ship them to her to another state. He does not have the money. She says she will pay for movers to move it, but we think she is just BS. She should have turned them in months ago. DS had to move all the stuff from the apt due to not being able to afford apartment when she left. They have broken up. My PTSD counselor says we should call up her unit and ask them to take the equipment back. This will shut her up b/c the equipment is not her anyways. We do not want it or need it. It is heavy and DS can not move it. Does any one have ideas what to do with equipment? She told DS that she is now seeing a rich man. We do not believe anything she says. DH says the unit might not take back equipment without an inventory list. I do not know anything about this kind of stuff. DS with his disability has much on his plate and who needs this crap.
Have a good day. DH and I are going to gym today. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Sorry you are still going through all this. You sure are a "strong" mom. I hope your son realizes how good you are to him. You will be rewarded someday. Bless your Heart. Hugs.

If the equipment is accounted for, the nit should have a copy of the hand receipt to account for the equipment. If it's been so long she may have already paid for it! It is not Ds's responsibility! For DS,s sake, I'd have him check a local unit to see what the options are. Don't let the devil ride! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I am not sure about them (nearest unit) taking the stuff either. It is her responsibility not DS or yours.

Hope you had a good healthy workout at the gym and a peaceful day after that.

Give the calling the unit a try. It will show attempt to comply if nothing else. Be sure to document everything (I'm certain you know this).
