GRACE IN RELATIONSHIPS
There is really no reason for anyone to be rude. If we donít understand something, if we have a question, if we arenít sure, we need to ask. Asking rather than blaming should be done in a way that shows love and concern rather than bitterness and curse words. When someone does something to help but are blamed for their actions, relationships can be broken. Godís grace can make relationships better but we have to go to Him and ask Him to help us show grace to those involved.
1 Corinthians 3:10 ďBecause of Godís grace to me, I have laid the foundation like an expert builder. Now others are building on it. But whoever is building on this foundation must be very careful.Ē (NLT)
Dear Lord, we know there are those who want to cause trouble and harm. We know there are those who want to break up relationships. Help us today to show grace to those people so they can see the good in You. Help us today to have the strength to give them kindness, love and caring words even if we think they donít deserve it. We need You to make us strong today. In Jesusí name. Amen.
When we show grace to others, we wonít be using hateful and bitter words.
We can tell what is in oneís heart by their words and actions.
How we act around those who are closest to us reveals what is really in our hearts.
God wants His grace to help all things and all people. His grace can heal relationships that have gone bad.
Godís grace can make any relationship better when we invite Him in.
Acts 20:24 ďBut my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesusóthe work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.Ē (NLT)
