Last weekend I went for a hike.
There is a trail which connects my hometown of Keene, NH with Brattleboro, VT and passes some pretty spots along the way.
Some people don't like cloudy days, but I find the colors of the woods are richer, more saturated.
This pool was so still that it acted as a mirror for the forest behind it.
The journey's end, Brattleboro, VT, seen from the last ridge in New Hampshire
The Connecticut River separates VT and NH. The crossing consists of a bridge, an island, and another bridge.
The end is in sight
Kayaker playing in a tributary to the main river.
These funny folk are outside the Brattleboro Museum
My favorite detail from the sculpture.
