Happy to be Home!

Home! What a lovely afternoon. After my 2nd training of the day, I had the opportunity to head back to Central Market in Poulsbo, Washington and pick up a few things I did not have the opportunity to grab while I was there to acquire lunch. I also wanted to get another round of the AmAzInG Pumpkin Carrot Curry soup I had for lunch to bring home for dinner. While there, I found a couple of other rarely seen (but much cherished) items that had to come home with me. The Spanish Fig and Almond Cake (100% Paleo) is absolutely DIVINE with its total of 4 ingredients (dried figs, almonds, ground anise, and cinnamon). Rich as all get out but very tasty. The Date and Almond Cake and the Apricot and Almond Cake (both also Paleo and from Spain) insisted they come home with their fig brethren. Too yummy!

After that foray, I was blessed with the opportunity to share a cup of tea with the awesome Patti Titterness Ray at her lovely home. The time we spent together was rich with deep conversations and lots of laughter. It is a gift to spend time with quality people in a relaxed setting. And she brews a great cuppa, too.

Following my visit with Patti, I hit the Silverdale Y and had yet another gift dropped in my lap! I found out that a former student from SKHS is working there! He was as pleased to see me as I was him. Chris looked awesome!

Now I am preparing for an eventful day tomorrow, which will begin with Get Up Get Dirty, be followed by a visit to the Bremerton Family YMCA, and the opportunity to watch another awesome friend, Jay Humenay, play in a soccer match! It is going to be fabulous!
