Beautiful Fall Saturday
Saturday, October 19, 2013
I didn't do anything spectacular today, just rested and got that kitchen floor mopped. Pulled out the crock pot and made a pot roast for Louis-I am not particularly fond of pot roast-but he enjoyed it. Finally got around on trying to update the software on my cell phone, hopefully I get full camera function sooner rather than later.
My sister return safely home from her Asian travels and I know my niece and nephew are pleased to have Mommy home. Dad is going to be traveling to DC to visit my other sister and boyfriend instead of making the journey here to Kansas City. I just sigh and keep it moving, keeping it real. He has to do what he has to do.
Fall is in full bloom so to speak, everything is slowing dying off for the cold winter coming. I pulled my last two tomatoes off the vine-green but healthy. I have a plan to get started early next year for a better crop. I need to get some grass seed for my front lawn before the first snow fall, they said western Kansas saw a little snow already. I have to get my truck winterize before long.
Fall is full of pumpkin spice teas and marshmallows and hot chocolate and my allergies.
October is usually my most hectic month, but I am exhaling, taking one step at a time and giving all praises to God. Moma is in a good place and she knows I am in a good place also.
