So, it turns out that 1 month slump was actually pre-flu like symptoms which pretty much started to go into full fruition this past week.
I stayed at home for three days straight (plus today). I had vertigo, stuffed sinuses, the sneezies, and the achoos. LOL. I had to make it sound cute, but I wasn't doing so well. I had this intense body fatigue where I felt I had to stay in bed for hours. Staying in bed and hiding in my room for those three days has really helped me get over this flu-like thing quickly. Oh, was I feeling awful.
I have to be accountable. When I was feeling sick, I wanted oily, fatty, foods. I craved a lot of protein and carbs. Now, that I am better, I can get back to eating more raw fruit/veggies which have helped me lose weight during the summer.
I really have to make sure I pay attention to what I eat. Oh! I was pilfering candies and cookies from my own Halloween candy stash, so I have to put that away as well. I gave into temptation, but at least now, with regularly eating an apple, there is some fruit being put into my diet on a daily basis.
Grateful that all I gained was only 5 pounds. I'm sure it'll shed once I am ready and able to do some more exercises. I'm still looking at the big picture however long it may take me to get there!
