Falling into Place

Saturday, October 19, 2013

I never wanted to do home health. It looked so boring and mostly about w Oki und care, never really my thing. After almost 2 months of orientation to this area of nursing I am learning to enjoy the challenges that come with this line of work, from cliets not being at home to those thatvdon't want to take responsibility to help make/keep themselves healthy.

I know I am no choir girl when it comes to healthy living. I guess you could say that is why I am back here. I hqve also started again participating in a healthy eating support group. I guess you could say that mine is a story of if at first you don't succeed try try again. I can say that I am happy &challenged in my current job. I am wanting to get other areas of my life in order. This weekend I have worked on the bbackyard & need to get my car cleaned out as we have people coming this next week at work from corporate to make sure we are ready for a Medicare survey. They will choose whom they want to ride with to make sure we are following all the rules.

I see a lot of little things in my life seem to be falling into place. Now to use this momentum to keep moving myself & my goals forward. Looking forward to a rebirth in the spring as I uee the downtime of winter to solidify what I am doing right for me.

I often found that what I think initially is then proven wrong! I am glad that you are now seeing home health with different eyes, I think that you will learn so much from your patients. Glad that it is all falling into place for you :)
