This past week my goal was to limit tv time and spend more time with God. I succeeded... every night after my son went to bed, I turned off the tv or didn't turn it on at all. Instead, I read and spent time with God. I have had a lot of clarity this week and it has been great. This up coming week, I want to continue my goals of coming closer to God but also add eating at home. This is something I struggle with but I know that it is a vice holding me back from several of my goals. So this week I am not specifically focusing on eating real food this week, although it is in the back of my mind. My goal is to make food at home. I also want to try and add 2 fruits or veggies to each meal but it, again, isn't my main focus.
Week 1- Spend time every day in God's word (I need to do better with this this week too, but last week was parent/teacher conferences and I had 2 12 hour days.)
Week 2- Watch less tv and spend more time with God in the time I would have watched TV
Week 3- eat at home 80% of the time. Breakfast and lunch are easy because I am at work. Dinner is the struggle.
