Day 1 of Water Fast. And so it begins...

Doing this to record my fasting journey. From what I've read the 1st 3 to 4 days are the hardest and heck I just want to share all that joy with you all. No goal in mind, although it was encouraging to see so many youtubers reporting on their 14 and 21 day fasts. It would be nice to make it two weeks. Yes, this is partly about weight loss but moreover it's about seeing if I've got the fortitude to go the distance. If you feel inspired to undertake your own fast please do your homework and if in doubt consult a doctor.

There's a great scene (one of many) in the movie "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World" and they're wise words for us all no matter what you're trying to achieve.

    Well I'll be watching your progress. I am a raw vegan and low fat to boot. I personally do not recommend anyone doing any fast unless they eat extremely healthy for at least 45 days before so their body/emotions don't stress too much. Wendy's chili as a last meal? Hold Fast indeed.
