Much Ado about Nothing

Saturday, October 19, 2013

A few of my collegues, including an envious co-worker, have organized a cultural exchange where I work.
Glory to them. emoticon
The point is, they go around boasting and it looks like they're the only ones on earth to have courage enough to organize such things.
In the past few months I was really troubled but finally succeded in creating a project for European Certifications - it will allow students to reach certifications in foreign languages.
I know mine's really small creation but I quite don't get why these co-workers're now trying to minimize what I've been doing in order to magnify what they're doing.
My program may eventually last for many years, theirs lasts only one week!!!!
Many people are just blinded by their 'apparent' success. They love it. They tend to think they're great and what others do is nothing.
But I believe the truth is different.
I love success, too, but only if it has a totally different flavour. It's another kind of success.......it gives us a foundation we can grow on.

Growth also lies in all the goals I've been reaching with your help, dear friends!!!!
Which is the success you are looking for???????????? emoticon

* Probably because they feel that they have to. Good bosses see through that.

It can be tough when co-workers are not on ones side.

Congrats on completing the project!

It could be, in a convoluted sort of way, that they look to your leadership and copy it. They see you create an initiative in a certain area and they copy your efforts.

I agree that their motivation may be a bit skewed but it just may be that secretly they adore you.

Ya never know
