So, everyone is telling me to stop weighing myself daily, and I know deep down that they are right. When I wasn't eating healthy I rarely got on the scale (maybe every 2-4 weeks), but when I do start eating healthy I tend to get on the scale every single morning to check my progress---though the body fluctuates so I have ruined my day based on a gain in water weight that day. So, I have decided that I will attempt to not weigh myself anymore until Thursday (my last weigh in).
The issue is that getting on the scale has become so routine every morning, so it will take 21-days to break that habit (like most habits). So now in place of hopping on the scale before brushing my teeth, I need to find a new ritual. I have no idea what it will be, but to keep this (healthy eating) a lifestyle, I need to make it more relaxed where I only weigh every 2-4 weeks eventually like I did when not eating healthy. For now, weighing once a week will be my challenge and goal to myself.
I made some kale chips, and gosh they easily replace potato chips for me. I am sure everyone is different though, but they were perfect! I would like to learn how to make bbq kale chips (my favorite flavor of potato chips is bbq). There has to be some dry rub or something I could use.
