I started running again and this was my 3rd week since my "reset". I'm scheduled to run Monday Wednesday Friday, with the option of pushing back a day if things get hectic. And of course, things got hectic this week. I'm working on a project at work and I was at work until 7 almost every day this week, except Wednesday (I had a dentist appointment) and Friday (eff that noise, I'm partying). I ran on Monday, but on Wednesday, Mom offered to help me clean and I couldn't say no. By the time she left, it was too late to go out. So I defer to Thursday. But S invited me over to play games, and he's been out of town since Monday, so I couldn't say no. So, I missed a day. And I'm not doing it today either because we're going out to a bonfire, and I'm not going to delay the fun. I may try to squeeze it in before he comes over, but I'm also making dinner and need make the house decent before he does. It's been a heavy week. I may or may not fit it in tomorrow because it's another day with him. I could maybe do it early in the morning, but I'm going to play it by ear. So, I think I'm going to repeat the week of training next week and try to keep it going.
It doesn't help that the training this week is boring and LONG. There's a LOT of walking, and this particular session calls for SLOW walking. It just drags the whole things out. I get the same mileage in 50 minutes that I got last week in 40. It's boring. I recall disliking this week last time I did it too. But I'll stick with it. It's still more fun than just running miles.
