New Barcade-can't wait to go again

Friday, October 18, 2013

My oldest daughter went to her dads last night and my youngest went to Nana's, so my hubby and i tried something new, a barcade. It's a new place that opened up downtown and it's a Bar/Arcade for adults. They had all the old games like space invaders, original kong, original mario, pacman, Knock out, house of the dead, pinball machines, and just tons of old games. They also had 2 giant sized Jenga games and a huge connect 4 game. (And when i say giant, i mean the pieces are huge) They have an old console tv and couch to play super nintendo games on. And a huge flat screen tv with 4 controllers for mario kart. This place is awesome. The drink prices were good and the games were all a quarter/token. And every time you order a drink, you get a free token. And since Jimmy Johns is down the street from it, one of their employees was walking around with mini sandwiches and giving them out for free. Before we left i made my hubby get in the photo booth with me. It was $3 but worth it. We each got a strip and there were 4 pics on each strip. It was so much fun, can't wait to do it again.

We have a couple of those around here.

But I always hated Chuck E. Cheese. And now that I don't have to take anyone there anymore, I cannot imagine going into one on purpose.
