Good morning Sparkers and shout out to my favorite spark supporter Sugar0814 - you're the best. Thanks for your encouragement and motivation!!!
Yesterday I had a splurge meal and really went over my points for the day and ate up half my extra points for the week too
Also the extra points I earned for working out yesterday I ate them as well. Hey it was a splurge meal and I have NEVER dipped into my weekly allowance points since I started WW. When I logged in my weight yesterday on WW it said that I was losing too fast
Expected weight loss is .05 to 2#s a week no more after the first 3 weeks. So it suggested I start using some of my weekly allowance. Now that's not why I had my splurge meal and was not my thinking. I'm not going to lie and say that's the reason. There's no excuse other than I wanted a cheat meal.
Now I'm sure I'll workout this week and earn plenty more extra points. I haven't had many days where I eat up my workout bank too. Typically when the week is over I have all my weekly allowance points and a bank of 15-25 or more activity points available.
Now the most important thing is that I can't let that one meal turn into more than one. I can't forget that I splurged and got to put the work in and mealing planning in to get to my next goal. I prayed hard and long about this last night and this morning. I posted my next goal weight of 272 or lower around my house. Might have to add a post-in to my desk here at work. Since I love my co-workers so much I brought in candy (chocolate) for them. They kept telling me that the jar was empty so....Now this is a big temptation for me but I'm going to set my mind on staying away from it. I think I might put a note on the jar (for me).
New Thing: I got my first set of invisaligns this morning. This set is known as phase zero to get the patient use to wearing them. This was one of my bucket list items to take better care of my teeth. I use to have perfectly straight, healthy teeth until a few bad dental experiences. Then I let peridontal disease set in and my teeth started the shifting pattern. I noticed one side now it's both sides at the top and I'm starting to get spacing between my teeth. So I'm now back to healthy gums and getting my teeth back to normal by having invisaligns. I couldn't see myself wearing braces at 49 so I opted for the more costly invisible approach. Since you can't eat with them on, hopefully I won't snack unconsciously
I'm still up in the air regarding the Breast Cancer walk tomorrow. If I decide to walk - it'll just be a jump up and go. After my meal splurge I think I better walk...
