I am really looking forward to the long weekend, Monday is a public holiday so no work (yay!) I am not as apprehensive about this coming weekend as I was about the last one. I guess I am slowly getting back into the groove of things.
I have been finding it much easier to make the right choices. (Why is it that even though we know what is right we still rebel and do the wrong thing, then waste a lot of time regretting our choices. This is true in very many aspects of our lives - fitness, food choices, our Christian walk, our relationships etc).
I have been experimenting with new veges. I visited an Indian market and was amazed at the variety of veges that they have. The easiest way for me to try on new veges is in my vegetable juices, so yesterday I tried some Kalera (aka bitter melon or bitter guard). It is bitter, but apparently its very good for you. I don't mind the bitter taste in small doses, it does not leave a bad taste in your mouth. I also tried bottle guard, it has a nice mild taste and works as well as cucumber as a base for other stronger tasting veges.
Have a lovely weekend and make the right choices!
