long time no blog!

I'm telling you, the fall takes it out of me, I am wayyyyy too busy!

I have been making sure to take the time to log my food and exercise but that is about all! My Spark points are pathetically low, not a lot of time for Sparking, but that's ok - keeping it up and staying on track.

I got a little flu back a couple of weeks ago and it slowed me down for a bit, but I really feel like I'm back now, baby! Been working hard the last week and it is showing, little bit of weight loss, definitely some good movement in the tightening up of the waist area. I need to post some pictures sometime soon, but I feel good!

I gave blood yesterday as well, they said my hemoglobin is great and my speed (how fast the blood came out) was super quick - this is a sign of being very healthy, they tell me - so that was a nice little non-scale victory too!

I may not be blogging and saying hi as frequently, and I miss all you characters, but between the 3 businesses and the 3 kids, pretty much drowning - lol! I am grateful I am exercising and eating right or I would not be making it right now!!

Off to have a well deserved rest - I'm definitely tired at bedtime these days, at least! Hope you are all well and feeling healthy and happy!

Tracy - Great job keeping up with the exercise and eating well! You've got those priorities straight, that's for sure.

I find that when I get sick for a day or two, or have to do something out of the ordinary, it takes me weeks to get back to the normal busy. I know everyone is busy and there are lots of different reasons for it, but I think having kids with special needs means that almost every minute you are (or feel like you should be) doing something productive and then when the out of the ordinary hits, getting back on track takes forever! [For those without special needs kids, I realize you have your own set of needs to deal with too, so you'll understand; but Tracy and I share this common one.]

I'm off for vacation (withOUT the kid) next week and plan on doing almost nothing! Of course, I'll have a bigger pile of stuff to do when I return, but I'll be rested and will be able to tackle it better!

I want to give plasma! I actually may check into doing that soon. Because I know you have to wait a few months after anesthesia to do it. I will be having anesthesia on the 21st of Nov and I had it last time on the 29th. I love that you gave blood! Did you get paid for it? I'm a college student and I'm struggling to get by. I know donating plasma is about $50 a donation.

Hope the fall gets less busy for you! I know how taxing that can be on the body!
