This week seems to be dragging! I think this always happens when there is a four day week. As much fun as a 3 day weekend can be -- the 4 day work week just doesn't seem long enough -- or I just can't seem to get on task -- I don't know which.
Thanks to a fire alarm though I got a great workout in today -- we had to walk down the 16 flights of stairs and since the elevators were not back on yet -- had to walk back up them again. Down -- not as hard but my legs were shaking by the bottom -- Up-- someone kill me please
Although we made it -- 16 flights of stairs :)
I also have been working on this walk to mordor project. It is from Nerd Fitness (my other favorite fitness site). It is a spread sheet where you track you miles and they used the maps and scales from Tolkien to figure out just how far Sam and Frodo went on their journey. You are walking towards certain cities and I have decided that each city will hold a reward for me so I am working towards Rivendell which has a new pair of running shoes :).
Hobbiton to Rivendell = 458 miles. I need to start walking.
