The Struggle to Victory!

Thursday, October 17, 2013

Today on my time with the Lord the question come to my heart about 1 Corinthians 6:19 "Do you not know your body is the temple of the Holly Spirit who lives within you, whom you have received as a gift from God?. Come to my heart the question if I really embrace the meaning of this. I don't have the right to mistreat or ignore my body. Like Paul writes 1 Cor 6:19 "You are not you own". I belong to God! His Spirit lives on me and my body should be used to glorify Him. God's plan for my life involves maintaining us spiritual, emotional and physical. The day is today! I need to stop struggling with procrastination; break free from criticism and judgment. Don't allow the adverse opinions of others to affect me negatively or influence the decisions I make. Criticism and judgment are the devil's tools to try to keep me to fulfilling God's destiny for my life. Father I ask you to help me to continue to grow to love, encourage and accepts myself. Be secure in the fact that you love me.

Victorious Attitude
by James Kisner

You cannot win the race,
unless you follow through.
You cannot blame the others,
for it all depends on you.

You cannot win the battle,
if you do not raise your sword.
You cannot claim a victory,
if there is no reward.

You cannot shape the future,
if you wait until it's here.
The future has no purpose,
if you live today in fear.

Your future lies within your hand,
to do with what you may.
For tomorrow brings results,
of what you've done today.

The choices that you make today,
reflect the life you seek.
But first of all, the seeds are sown,
before the gardener reaps.

The future's like a lump of clay,
you hold within your hand.
As time goes by, the clay gets hard,
so mould it while you can.

Failure is an attitude,
that haunts the mind of man.
But, results will be successful,
for the one who knows HE CAN!
