When I go running I will go after two hours after my breakfast or any larger meal. I will have some fruits or milk after my run.
If I going for a bike ride than it is not so important for me if I just had my meal before the ride. It does not seem to bother me if I ride with a full stomach. I try to always have a light meal and eat snacks during my ride.
Now if I am going for swimming lengths at the pool, I must not have any thing in my stomach for it just not work for me. I don't swim so long that I need a post-workout fueling after.
