The speaker told us different ways to help you fall asleep and stay asleep. most of what she said I already knew like stable bed times and getting up in the morning, stimulation like tv, etc...
But what I didn't know was drinking milk at bedtime is a myth. While it does have some benefit to help you go to sleep it also has stuff in it to keep you awake.
Having said that, she said if ya want to snack eat a light protein such as a little meat or a slice of avocado. The protein will help you sleep. I tested this one last night. I ate a greek yogurt and while I didn't sleep perfectly I did sleep a lot better.
She also advocates vit D so I will look into that.
I do feel more rested today
On another note Statewide is sending a couple of hotshots to my home today. I have been in contact with them about my grievances. I told the guy I wanted to give them a chance before I leave reviews. It seems as though the workers reported to them that I chipped my sink. Absurd!
So we shall see what happens.
