Day #18 of 32 - Back to work for everyone!!! Weigh-in too

Awwww today was my day to work anyway during the furlough. So I'm not at all disappointed to come into work. I better not hear one person complaining about coming to work after this shutdown. Be happy you got a job and a place to call work! Okay I'm done!
What day is it? weigh-in day (visualize the camel...lol) Okay I'm so happy to report a 3.8# loss!!!
this stuff really works!!! The visualizing myself at a certain weight. Last week one of my SparkFriends suggested something in reference to a blog I posted about setting my visions before me and striving for them. Well Nikki said that someone had made a suggestion to post her goal weight for the week around her environment. She did...and she actually loss more than the goal. So even though I had written my goals out on my blogs and on my bucket list - I figured ... try it.
So I posted my goal for this week - 275#s. My goal I was really shooting for was 276. Today I'm happy to say I surpassed both of them and weighed in at 274.7!!! Now having it posted all over my home (bathroom mirror, bedroom mirror, kitchen) simply reminds me of what I'm shooting for. The proper eating, exercising and drinking my water is what gets me there. As I keep my goals before me it helps me to stay focused. I even put a post-in on my snack cabinet ...I looked at it before I went to the grocery store so I don't purchase anything that will tempt me to be outside of my calories. It makes me say "Vanessa you got a goal to reach this week...keep it moving...don't get lazy".
Now that I've surpassed this weeks goal I'm aiming for 272-273 this week. My lowest weight this year was 269.8 in June. I'm aiming to reach that...soon. WW works and so does being obedient to journaling food, calculating my calories, getting in my water, being active, blogging and keep prayer first thing. All the tools that I used the way they are meant to be used on this journey made for a successful week.
Now to keep my mind on the next goal, don't let a great weigh-in derail my thinking, don't get lazy or cocky but keep doing the right thing.
I'm still cooking the majority of my meals at home. I have really limited my fast food intake and will continue to do this. So laides/gents it's a good day...and I rejoice in it!!! Thanks you Jesus!!!
Ultimate goal to get to the 260's before the end of the month!!! Can I do it? Yes I can!!! Because God is with me and I put Him first!!!
