last week I made a big batch of apple butter, and two jars of raw applesauce. and I sliced and dehydrated half a gallon zip loc bag full. This week I would love to go back to the orchard and get some more apples...Unfortunately I am broke this it will have to wait.

(Actually, seeing the picture above is making me want to do an apple-cinnamon bake.)

We have a new law that apples and bananas must be in the house at all times. Of course, we are still training my father on how to BUY the produce. He gets the bananas too ripe and the waxy apples. We come from an apple orchard in NY state. How can he NOT get the right ones??? Silly men!

But your picture reminded me that I need to get some serious shopping done this morning so I have plenty of fruit at the hunting camp this weekend. And yes, I am sneaking in salad mix stuff and I am hiding it! LOL I need to get some apples!
